Approving card payments by phone
The need
A bank's fraud-prevention platform flags some card transactions for confirmation. The bank needed the genuine cardholder to be reached by phone within moments, asked to approve or decline, and the answer returned to the platform automatically — without staff placing calls by hand.
What we built
- Automatic outbound calls, started the moment the platform flags a transaction
- A short, guided voice prompt: confirm or decline with one key press
- Retries when a call is unanswered or the line is busy, on a schedule the bank controls
- Every outcome — approved, declined or unreachable — sent back to the platform
- Call history, alerts and a live queue view for the bank's operations team
The outcome
Flagged payments are confirmed with the cardholder automatically, with a complete record of every attempt. The solution is currently in acceptance testing with the bank.
Queue and callback reporting for managers
The need
A contact center running on a Yeastar phone system could see its calls, but not the story behind the missed ones: who gave up waiting, whether anyone called them back, and by whom. Managers wanted those answers on a screen, without asking IT for exports.
What we built
- Live dashboards fed directly from the phone system's own call records
- A queue call log covering answered, missed and abandoned calls
- Callback tracking: each missed caller is shown as returned or not returned, with the agent who did it
- Filters by queue, agent and time period
The outcome
Supervisors see missed demand and follow-up at a glance, in one place. The reporting is live in production.
A phone assistant for a school's parent relations
The need
A private school's parent-relations team spends much of its day on first calls, appointment booking and reminders. The school wanted these handled consistently by phone, keeping staff time for the conversations that need a person.
What we built
- AI voice agents that hold the first conversation with parents, in Turkish
- Appointment booking and confirmation conversations
- Every call ends with a clear outcome: nothing more needed, or passed to the parent-relations team
- A transcript and a category for each call, ready for the school's records
- Delivered on the Botsips AI voice-agent platform
The outcome
Designed so every parent gets a consistent first response while the team's time goes to the conversations that need a person. This is a proposal for the school; implementation has not started.
More engagements
Other projects scoped and designed with clients. Each card describes the need and the approach, not a result.
Elevator fault reporting by voice
- The need
- Residents need to report an elevator fault at any hour, and the call center should not have to take every report by hand.
- The approach
- Callers say the name of their building. Speech recognition matches it to a building list and routes the report automatically, on the client's existing 3CX phone system.
Shipment information by phone
- The need
- Callers keep asking staff for the same two facts about a shipment: which vessel, and when it arrives.
- The approach
- A Turkish-language voice agent takes the transfer document number, looks it up in the company's database and reads back the vessel name and estimated arrival.
AI support line triage
- The need
- Support calls cover many machine types, and manual sorting sends some to the wrong team.
- The approach
- A voice assistant collects the machine type, serial number and problem, creates the record in the company's business system and routes the call to the right technical team.
CRM-aware call routing
- The need
- Customers should not have to work through long keypad menus to reach the right person.
- The approach
- The phone system recognises the caller from the CRM and routes straight to the right department; unknown callers are guided to be registered.
WhatsApp for the contact center
- The need
- Representatives were talking to pharmacies from personal WhatsApp accounts, so conversations could not be reported or handed over.
- The approach
- A business WhatsApp channel connected to the call-center phone system, so messages are queued, shared between agents and kept as company records.
Voice ordering of consumables
- The need
- Customers reorder point-of-sale supplies by phone, a routine task that ties up operators.
- The approach
- An AI voice assistant takes the order, confirms it with the caller and passes it to the company's back-end system.
